Our service is available to all EIC-funded companies through the official EIC Service Catalogue, run by EISMEA (European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency).

What this means

The EIC is Europe's most prestigious programme for deep-tech and breakthrough innovation, with a combined budget of more than EUR 10 billion under Horizon Europe. As an official partner in the EIC Service Catalogue we are one of a curated set of providers that EIC-funded companies can use to accelerate their growth and internationalisation.

In practice this means innovators that have received EIC Accelerator or EIC Transition funding can use registercompany.no to establish a Norwegian entity quickly, securely and digitally — as part of their go-to-market and scale-up strategy.

EIC ACCESS+ co-funding makes the service even more accessible

EIC-funded companies can receive up to EUR 60,000 in grants through EIC ACCESS+, covering up to 50 % of the costs of using specialised services from the EIC Service Catalogue — including ours. This effectively means Norwegian company formation for European innovation leaders is co-funded by the European Commission.

Our EIC service is aimed at innovators who:

• Are obligated to register a company in Norway for VAT, tax or legal matters
• Are considering Norway as a new market as part of their international scale-up
• Need an efficient, cost-effective and digital process for Norwegian company formation
• Are European nationals without a Norwegian D-number who still want to operate flexibly in Norway

What the service covers

The service is a fully automated end-to-end solution built on our digital infrastructure:

• State-of-the-art digital hybrid solution for cross-border authentication of real beneficial owners
• Patentability-reviewed concept recognised by the Norwegian Patent Office
• Particularly useful for Europeans without a Norwegian D-number
• The Norwegian government fee of approximately EUR 280 is added to our fixed price of EUR 1,000
• We follow up and provide updates while registration is being finalised by Norwegian authorities
• Access to our Norwegian partner and service ecosystem — ad-hoc advice included, consultancy on demand
