Intermediary AS × Randaberg Regnskap AS — partner agreement (December 2023)

📒 Intermediary AS has entered into a partner agreement with Randaberg Regnskap AS. The agreement was signed in December 2023 and strengthens both our day-to-day operations and the ecosystem we offer customers establishing themselves in Norway through registercompany.no.

Two layers in one agreement

The collaboration with Randaberg Regnskap AS covers two layers of our value chain:

1. Internal accounting for Intermediary AS — bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, annual accounts and reporting. A professional accounting firm that handles our own operations so we can focus on platform development and customers.
2. Ecosystem partner for our customers — foreign founders establishing themselves in Norway are offered an authorised, pre-vetted accounting partner from day one. This removes one of the biggest practical obstacles in entering the Norwegian market.

Why an accounting partnership is critical

A new company in Norway needs more than an organisation number. It needs:

• Bookkeeping in line with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act and accounting standards.
• VAT handling and term reporting to the Norwegian Tax Administration.
• Payroll, A-melding and pension follow-up.
• Annual accounts and reporting to Brønnøysund and the Norwegian Tax Administration.
• Guidance in the interface between home-country and Norwegian rules.

For foreign founders this is often the hardest part of Norwegian market entry — not the company registration itself. With Randaberg Regnskap AS as a pre-vetted partner, our customers can start on solid ground.

The agreement is deliberately worded as an ecosystem partner agreement, not just a supplier agreement:

• Joint development of processes that work for foreign founders — from the first D-number to a finished annual report.
• Data sharing within the GDPR framework, so the transition from the registercompany.no flow to ongoing accounting is seamless.
• A unified customer experience where language, communication channels and expectations are aligned upfront.
• Knowledge sharing both ways — we learn from their professional expertise, they learn from our customer flow.

Part of a larger foundation

The agreement with Randaberg Regnskap AS is an important piece of the puzzle alongside other partnerships and milestones in 2023:

• Market clarification grant (NOK 100,000) from Innovation Norway in June 2023.
• Launch of registercompany.no.
• Patentability review at the Norwegian Patent Office and the Zenodo/CERN publication.
• Press coverage from Danish Startup Group.
• Trademark registered with the Norwegian Patent Office.
